September update
:::FALL NEW RELEASES:::
As is always the case, fall is when bands decide to release their newest material. As such, the coming months see huge new releases every Tuesday. Because we’re such a small store, expect us to be sold out of your favorite unless you reserve it! Do it weeks ahead of time! We don’t mind! Better that you get your name in early to ensure yourself a copy. Call, stop in, or e-mail your requests.
:::THE BUSINESS EXCLUSIVES:::
The Business is the only place on the planet that you can buy physical copies of the new Mount Eerie (Song Islands, Vol. 2) and O Paon (Courses) albums pre-release! Want to show off to your friends? We can help.
:::NEW ART:::
We’ve got new art adorning our walls from a couple of really awesome people. First, Jeffrey Brown (MOME, McSweeney’s) was kind enough to send us a couple of his original drawings as well as unused/unpublished pages from his book Funny Misshapen Body! They’re really rad and you will not find these anywhere else. Additionally, Zoo-Mouse-Key Press has contributed a few posters that are as whimsical as they are informational. All of these items are also available for purchase.
:::VINYL:::
Landmark: there are over 150 new LPs in-stock. Bummed that we don’t carry the CD version? Let me run something by you. Nearly all of the albums come with MP3 download codes for the full album, bagging you a physical and digital copy for the same price as the CD (some of them even have the physical CD inside, too!). Thus, if you really want a copy of the CD, you can burn yourself a copy and you still get the beautiful physical item on vinyl and lossless/high-quality digital files. Just sayin’. (We can still order you the CD, if you really want it that way.)
